Our Sweet Story
It all started with Paul Polly’s vision – to create sweet treats that would evoke childhood memories.
Inspired by a homemade rice pudding, Paul used his life savings to fit out a small warehouse in Bankstown, NSW, installing production and cool rooms, buying a 40L pot & gas burner and spending a year perfecting the recipe to create our flagship product, our Wicked Sister Rice Pudding. Paul recognised the opportunity to transform an undeveloped desserts category and grow the chilled desserts landscape in Australian supermarkets, ensuring everyone could indulge in a range of nostalgic flavours and high-quality desserts and treats, from the comfort of their own home.
Fast forward to today, not only does our range continue to expand, but so does our vision. Whether you’re a fan of timeless classics or excited to explore new flavours, our desserts aim to create feel good moments for all people, making every day a little more delicious, allowing you to revisit those cherished memories, or to create new ones.

Our Journey
2009
WICKED SISTER IS BORN
Wicked Sister is born, bringing a new way for everyone to enjoy amazing desserts at home. Our journey began with a partnership with Woolworths, where we trialled our flagship Vanilla Rice Puddings in 150 stores across Queensland. This was just the beginning of our sweet adventure.
2011
LAUNCHED TWIN PACK DESSERTS
We expanded our brand across the East Coast of Australia, introducing our beloved Panna Cotta and Creme Caramel in convenient twin packs. Our range was growing, and so was our fan base.
2013
LAUNCHED FAMILY-SIZED TUBS
We launched family-sized tubs of our flagship Rice Pudding, making it easier for families to share the joy of Wicked Sister desserts. We also introduced our seasonal Custard to Coles, adding a touch of festivity to our lineup.
2014
WICKED SISTER PRODUCTS BECAME AVAILABLE IN COLES STORES NATIONWIDE
Our reach extended further as Wicked Sister products became available in Coles stores nationwide. More Australians could now indulge in our wickedly delicious creations.
2015
FROM A SMALL FACTORY TO A STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY IN INGLEBURN
To meet growing demand, we moved from our small factory in Bankstown to a state-of-the-art facility in Ingleburn. This move marked a significant milestone in our journey, enabling us to produce more of the desserts our customers love.
2018
18 MILLION PACKS SOLD
We hit a major milestone, selling 18 million packs in a single year. This achievement was a testament to the love and support of our loyal customers.
2019
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS IN BUSINESS
We celebrated a decade in business, reflecting on ten years of bringing joy to dessert lovers across Australia. Our passion for creating delightful desserts was stronger than ever. This year, we are also featured in NAB’s ‘More Than Money‘ campaign.
2020
OPENING OF 2ND FACILITY IN INGLEBURN
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, we continued to grow. We opened our second facility in Ingleburn and launched over 15 new products. Nothing could stop us from delivering wickedly delicious moments to our customers.
2021
LAUNCHED HIGH PROTEIN SNACKS AND NEW LOOK DESSERTS
The Wicked Sister brand received a fresh new look with a packaging refresh. We also introduced our High Protein Puddings in Banana, Chocolate, and Vanilla rice pudding flavours, accompanied by an extensive marketing campaign: “That Tastes Wicked.” Additionally, we launched our Premium range, featuring cream cakes, mousses, tiramisus, and sundaes, elevating our dessert offerings to new heights.
2022
NEW HIGH PROTEIN FLAVOUR
We added Strawberry High Protein Pudding to our lineup, providing even more options for those seeking a healthy, protein-packed treat. We were also awarded Dairy, Freezer and Convenience Supplier of the Year at the Coles Group Supplier Partner Awards.
2023
NEW SINGLE RANGE FLAVOURS
Our singles range expanded to include Raspberry Tiramisu, Lemon Tiramisu, and Cookies & Cream Mousse. These new flavours quickly became favourites among our customers.
2024
LAUNCHED FAMILY SIZE HIGH PROTEIN TUBS
We launched our Vanilla High Protein Pudding along with new family-sized tubs of High Protein in Chocolate, Vanilla, Banana, and Strawberry. We’ve also introduced a No Added Sugar Rice Pudding to our desserts and snacks range.
